If God exists, he doesn't need a marquee and a brass band to announce himself. He's smarter, much more subtle, and much more comfortable with himself than that. It's our challenge to see him in the details, as it were....;)

I've said it before; I'm an agnostic -- I think there is every possibility that there is something greater than us somewhere out there, but I'm not evolved enough to define what that might be. Anything is possible.

And I like rainbows, too, Brock. ;)Angela Rynan Durrell https://www.blogger.com/profile/00304465938782240813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079499.post-36739277674067902232011-03-10T18:54:35.383-08:002011-03-10T18:54:35.383-08:00the rainbow analogy is something to ponder.
i hav...the rainbow analogy is something to ponder.
i have heard people say that if god exists then why cant you see him. well, that is a strange way of looking at it. i actually like strange views and strange questions. i have actually made a career out of it.
my response to that question is based in the book of Romans. Romans 1:20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

im sure i just lost a few people reading this, but its what i believe by faith. i cant understand the world or the shape its in, but i can trust in this truth, God is real, the evidence is all around us.

ps i like rainbows :)brock gillhttp://brockgill.comnoreply@blogger.com
